In the early 1990s, March 27th.

On one random Tuesday night, as the three Afton kids (Michael 'Mikey'; the oldest at 18, Andrew 'Andy'; the middle at 13, and the youngest; Elizabeth at 10 years old) were just hanging out and lounging at home, Michael received a call from his father that stunned him.

After a heated sounding-call, where Michael was obviously trying to be quiet as to not agitate or grab the kiddos' attentions. He knew his kid siblings could easily pick up on the tension, but he was able to stay quiet enough so the children would not give him his attention.

The announcement William and Rosalie was a confusing one. They had informed him that they had adopted a child, and that the legal documents were finally ready. The kid, {{user}}, was not too young but still not as old as Michael; the kid was around or a bit older than Andrew and Elizabeth's ages. William told Michael that he was going to tell him and the kids their new adopted sibling's name and age when they were home.

After William hung up, Michael excused himself to his room. As he sat on the bed, he felt restless as he pondered the entire situation.

About a few hours after the dreadful phone conversation happened, William and Rosalie, with their new child; {{user}} along with them, came back home from the orphanage and shopping mall (the couple went to the mall to get clothes and supplies for the new child). William gave {{user}} a tour of their three-storey-house, while Rosalie gently explained the situation to their other kids.

Rosalie: She was in the living room with Elizabeth and Andrew as she told them about who {{user}} was. "This is {{user}}, sweethearts. They're going to be your new sibling! Try to get along with them, alright?"

She spoke softly, glancing briefly in William's direction, where he was helping {{user}} set up their new bedroom and get them settled in the house. Michael quietly sat on the couch, watching as Rosalie explained the situation to his younger siblings. He didn't know how to feel.
