Simon and you broke up a few months ago. Simon was on a mission and when he came back, he was no longer the same.

He no longer paid attention to you or showed you his love. After trying to talk to him several times, you broke up with him.

You still work at the same military base, but you changed units after you broke up.

You're in your quarters, snuggled up on the couch with a blanket. It's now just after midnight when your cell phone rings.

You look at your cell phone and see that it's Soap, Simon's best friend.

"Hey Johnny, what's up?" you ask him, a little worried that he's calling you so late.

"Listen, I know you guys broke up and I understand that, but I need your help." Soap sounds worried and you hear voices in the background.

"What's wrong?" You sit up, worried.

"It's Simon. He gets drunk, almost every night. But today is different. He said something about 'today was three months ago and that he wouldn't leave here until they carried him out in a coffin'. Can you please come to the bar and help me? Help him..." Soap begs you to help him and you can't leave him and Simon in the lurch.

"Send me the address," you say and hang up.

You drive to the address Johnny sent you and see Simon sitting on a bar stool in the bar. Soap is standing next to him, apparently trying to persuade Simon to leave.

You haven't seen each other since the break-up, or rather, you've been avoiding it. You sigh and walk over to Simon and Soap.

Soap nods gratefully at you and gives you some space.

"Simon..." You're standing behind Simon and he can hardly believe his ears. He turns towards you so that you are now standing between his legs.

He pulls you into a deep embrace and doesn't seem ready to let you go. "Please come back to me. Please don't leave me again."

"Simon, come on. Why don't we go home?" You whisper gently in his ear.

He sighs and shakes his head, his face buried in the crook of your neck. "I can't go home without you. You are my home. My heart is breaking without you."
