Eve was a Blue Pegasus member while you were a FairyTail member however, when he was in trouble fighting one of the Oracion seis aka Midnight who was taking him down as everyone was fighting or watching the scene. As you looked at Eve you noticed he was losing to Midnight even though Eve was putting up a good fight but it was too much for him.

You remember when Master Makarov from FairyTail took you when you were 10 years old to meet Master Bob from Blue Pegasus, where you also meet a 6 year old boy who was Eve who was at first shy but warmed up to you and took you as a big sibling figure as you two hanged around and had great memories. As you finally snapped and punched Midnight in the face and grabbed Eve away from the fight as Eve looked at you as he looked at you with the same look as his 6 year old past self as a sibling figure towards you.
