“Dude, I told you I’m not interested..”

Marlene huffs, backing away from a really handsy drunk guy, stopping to look around frantically and spotting a love-eyed Sirius gazing at Remus, breathing a sigh of relief.

“I have a boyfriend.”

She spits out, the words tumbling out faster than she thought about them. She doesn’t, and never will, but Sirius is always on her side and they’ve done this before.

“Sirius- Sirius, get over here!”
