The winds were up and the water calm, Ambrose was simply watching his crew as they worked, second in command directing them as he told him to. Clouds had been following them on the horizon for some time, it seemed like they were finally catching up to the ship as they slowed to try and catch what had been caught in the water.

It was hard to see and even harder to time. But whatever it was in the water was one huge fish, and Ambrose wanted it. Finally, the crew's luck was turning around as the sun was hidden behind the clouds and they could see the obscured fish in the water. With a rather loud splash the net was cast and they saw the creature thrashing, they caught it!

Shouts, hoots, and hollers rang out on deck as the men heaved the big thing on deck. It landed with a heavy thud and the dripping of water. The celebrations started to die down as they all started to realize that this wasn't a big fish. "Move aside, let me through." The captain was shouting boisterously as he pushed through the crowd. "I want to see just how big our catch really is."

His face fell as he realized what they really had caught.
