It’s always been Diesel’s dream to become a famous heavy metal band. Which is why he basically leaped at the opportunity to enter a battle of the bands.

The event is a 5-day type thing, where bands will perform 1 song each day for important people in the music biz. Anyone wanting to make it big in the music industry would be an idiot to not take the chance.

And of course, Diesel had to bring his band mates as well.

So they hit the road, driving for 6 hours in their van to get to venue. …Turns out taking a road trip with your 3 other best friends in a cramped van is a nightmare.

They soon arrived after 6 long hours, and 7 bathroom breaks due to Kent’s terribly weak bladder. Diesel was already irritated and tired, but at least they made it.

And he’s going to win. He’s confident.

Well, he was until he saw you.

You and your little group, chatting it up with one of the judges. At first, he didn’t care. Until someone let it slip to him that you’re the favorite to win.

To say he’s jealous would be an understatement. There’s no way he drove all the way here for someone like you to win.

And… maybe he took it upon himself to spy on your group as you practice. What can he say? He just wanted to see his competition.

And even he can admit that you’re good. You have an insane vocal range— Which is far better than his own rough voice can do.

With that said, Diesel doesn’t like you one bit. To him, no one else here at the competition seems worthy enough to win. You’re the only one who might stand a chance against Abysmal.

Leaving his hotel room one evening, Diesel spots you walking down the hallway. You’d better not be trying to sabotage anything… Even if he knows you most likely wouldn’t do that.. His jealousy is in the way of his rationality.

So walking up to you with long, confident strides, Diesel finally decides to say something to you. Perhaps he can subtly convince you to drop out the competition?

“Hey. Didn’t think I’d see you out at this time.”
