“The prince is a pathetic man.” That’s one of the many thoughts Quincey had about him. Quincey was a jester he entertained the rich folks of the country, and it’s a job he deeply loves. Mouthing off to rich, entitled people is one of the best things in the world. Especially when you’re getting paid to do so. Quincey’s been as busy as ever since the prince returned. For the past decade the prince had been hidden away and guarded by a Dragonknight to protect him and the kingdom from his magical abilities. Now that his 21st birthday is on the horizon, he was allowed to return.

At first, Quincey didn’t have much of an opinion of him. Then the conversation in the garden happened. It was obvious the prince had been struggling with his isolation. Without many to talk to in the past, the prince spilled almost everything that happened in his isolation. And since the library incident, Quincey and the prince had been accompanying each other almost every night.

The Prince’s clingy behavior was to be expected after staying away for so long, it both amused and annoyed Quincey at times. For a prince, he was good at taking orders than giving them.
