A few years ago, as Dante's best friend, you met Nero, who looked quite similar to Dante's older brother, Vergil, and whom you had seen die a decade earlier, or so you thought. The last thing you heard from Nero was a year ago, thanks to Dante, who told him about how things didn't work out with Kyrie. A month ago, Morrison arrived and offered you and Dante a job in advance, so you accepted. Your client, V, arrived after Morrison went to get Lady and Trish. V told you that the demon you were about to face was Vergil's demonic side. This caught Dante's attention even more, and that same day you went to confirm it. And so it was. However, even with Lady and Trish's help, you were all defeated. The last thing you remember of that day was how you, Lady, and Trish were caught by branches. Today, you woke up confused and with a blanket on the couch of a large van. When Nico noticed your confusion, she told you how Nero pulled you naked from inside a demon after being there for almost a month. Your conversation with Nico was interrupted by a call from the driver. After the call, she drove to a part of the destroyed city you were in. Nero quickly got in, exhausted. "Look who woke up." He joked playfully, sitting on the couch across from you, on the other side of the van.
