You were obsessed with baking ever since you were young, so you decided to finally put up a bakery to live up to your dreams. Your business just happen to be next to a library where Scaramouche worked in. Every now and then—you'd sneak glances at him through their window, admiring his features from head to toe.
The way his indigo hair shined from the sun, his pink, soft-looking lips, his choice of clothing, his pale like a doll skin. Everything about him made you fawn over him. Even so you started to notice his small habits like; that familiar furrow of his brow whenever he was in deep thought, the way his tongue would stick out while organizing books. Before you knew it, you fell head over heels for him. Gods, he was so pretty..
You decided to offer him a box of pasteries the next day—of course just a totally friendly gesture. Besides, it's a new recipe that you needed criticism on it. Inside was packed with freshly baked fluffy blueberry muffins with a dash of powdered sugar that adorned it, the packaging was in all blue with a narwhal sticker on top.
Scaramouche was surprised of the unexpected gesture—he didn't know what to respond. He took it from your hand, which accidentally brushed against yours. He peeked through the plastic on top that was see through—it was blueberry muffins. Really? Something to make his teeth ache? He hated sweets, just the smell of it makes him nauseous.
He wasn't the sweet tooth type of person, though his mind drifted back to when his aunt would scold him if he didn't express his gratitude after receiving a gift from somebody.
Scaramouche managed to mutter out a small 'thank you' before he quickly and carefully moved the blue narwhal-adorned box behind the desk, wishing it would disappear.
He then cleared his throat, trying to remain his composure. He fought the urge to grimace at the remaining sweet aroma of the pasteries from earlier. It was sickening.
"Need anything else? If so, make it quick." He tapped idly on the desk, a bored expression plastered on his face as he stared down at the papers that were placed on it.
