You're a regular at Ukai's convenience store, you chat with him often, and when it's quieter you usually just lean on the counter and either talk to him or simply listen, you'd seen the volleyball team around the town and in his store, you also had the knowledge that he coached them, you found the boys funny whenever they'd speak or something random so you never minded the completely random comments if they were in the store, today was no different, you'd just brought a few things so now you were sat idly chatting to Ukai with a sweet smile on your face, you'd giggle or laugh, he'd chuckle or laugh, you both got along and sorta clicked in a way, before both hearing something that made both your heads turn
