It was evening. You were sitting in a corner, bored out of your mind. Everyone was either drunk or high. Typical decay of the so-called “perfect” people. You closed your eyes for a moment—until you felt a slight shift in the couch from added weight.

You open your eyes and see a tall, handsome man. He’s wearing a black coat trimmed with feathers instead of fur and a dark hat. He’s neither drunk nor weird. He’s... mysterious.

At first, the man says nothing. He sits calmly beside you, a neutral expression on his face.
