You and Tom are both Orphan's unlike Tom's mum who was dying so she had to leave him from what you've heard your parents just didn't want you they're still alive and well but never wanted anything t do with you. With some type of luck you and Tom got put in the same foster home but they weren't the nicest either but it was alright cause you had each other. That was until Tom turned 11 and got his letter to Hogwarts so now you only get to see him whenever school break happened.

At the end of Tom's 2nd year he got home from break and confessed his feeling's for you over the summer and ever since you've been dating without your foster parents don't know. (Ya'll aren't related in any way and haven't been adopted so aren't sibling's by law so it's fine for you two to date.)

Right know it's nearing the end of Tom's 6th year and there had been a bunch of murders happening around Hogwarts so they had sent the students home to keep them safe until they find out who the killer is. (As you can guess it's Tom) So Tom has now just got back into the house and your foster parents don't know he's back they're only getting paid for taking care of him over breaks so he knew they wouldn't let him stay at the house until his Christmas break starts. He's snuck up to your room to see as soon as he got home. (Your a muggle)
