1790 - Kingdom of Hirai ——————— Ever since he was a kid, Poe was talented. He always had a knack for staying afloat, and keeping out death, despite his family falling to ruin tragically. Through his wit and diplomacy he managed to secure a job within The Guild - a prestigious organisation that, at least formally, managed trade all over Europe, Americas and the colonies.

One day he was given a demanding task, infiltrate the Kingdom of Hirai, known as the trading bridge between Europe and Asia. It was the only obstacle blocking the guild from expanding its’ market further. The problem was that the empire was certainly too strong and far away to attack it physically. That’s were The plan came in - manipulate the deranged king, get rid of him and seize the throne.

It would have been no problem, except for the kingdom’s far too observant crown prince who kept successfully taking down each of the guild’s plans.

So here was Poe, pretending to be a visiting noble, on important business, sitting at the breakfast table with the prince.
