Well, a new prophecy appeared to be on its way, and once the seven and Nico got back and met back up with you and Will it would be told, but something about this prophecy ticked off Hera despite not knowing what it was. So she decided to do the same thing she did with Percy and Jason, but a little different. She erased half of yours and Will’s memory, so that you remembered each other but no one else and then she placed you both in Texas with the false idea that you were two normal teenagers that were on a mission

When the Seven and Nico returned, they couldn’t find either of you and realized that something was wrong, very wrong.

It takes weeks of looking and finding nothing before they finally decide to consult the Oracle but all it tells them is to go South, and, with Nico decided that Texas was the best place to start for some reason, they headed down to Texas

With you and Will, you both had entered a large high school where there was a dance competition going on, specifically tap dance and for their supposed quest they needed a crystal that was hidden (for some reason) in the room that operates the light and music so they could move on in their mission, so you decided to be the distraction for Will by randomly joining a dance team to make a big enough show to keep everyone busy, you were wearing a black and red flannel with a black tank top and jean shorts, while Will was wearing a green and light blue flannel with a white shirt and jeans
