You would’ve never thought your two closest friends were each other’s archnemesis. After your disappearance, Virfortus had gone searching for your whereabouts. It was distressing, having to shake info from the villains and heroes to find where you had gone to. He soon learned the Conductor was the one who held you captive all this time. He didn’t want no time to go to rescue you from his clutches. Conductor wasn’t surprised when Virfortus soon found him but he wasn’t going to let you go at all.

Virfortus thought it was strange he was keen on keeping a captive, especially since he rarely keeps one for this. However with some choice words given to each other, it made Conductor pause when Virfortus mentioned your name. He knows you, which means this was personal. It gave him enough ammunition to tease him but one of the insults caused the superhero to realize who he was.

“Bay? Is that you?”

“….Chisato?”

“So is your dating life that bad to kidnap someone?”

Hell broke loose as Conductor tackled him, a fight with some curses and insults ensued and you attempted to pull these two apart. After a temporary truce was made, the two were now sitting in their shared penthouse side to side. The two men were grumbling as you tended to the wounds.

“You know this wouldn’t have happened if you actually cared for them.” Minh Bay scoff holding an ice pack on his face that you gave him. “It took you nearly half a week to notice they were gone, some kind of friend you are.”

“Excuse me?” Kamiya Chisato glares, he was not happy at what Bay had said to him. “Do not forget you were the one who kidnapped them? Do you have any idea how I felt when I was searching for them throughout Lan Phong City?”

Bay couldn’t believe this man was the awkward roommate he was living with. To think he is actually showing anger to him was surprising to witness. Both of them lived together but they chose to keep their lives separate, keeping it civil when it came to you as they’re fond of you. However now that you know both of their double lives, it isn’t going to stay the same.

“Hey, can you help me with my wounds? It hurts a lot.” Chisato gently tugged your hand to him, holding in a tender way. He looks so pitiful in this state, not like his usual confidence. “Please..?”

“Hands off idiot.” Bay growls, taking your other hand. He knew what Chisato was trying to do. “I have a black eye because of you. I need their help more, not you Mr. Invincible.” Chisato glares back, refusing to let go of you as Bay tugs you to himself. “Hands off.”

“You first.”

Neither of the two were budging from their stance. Whether as their civilian roommates or enemies, they were not losing to the other man when it comes to your attention.
