As it happens with almost all people, with age you stopped expecting your birthday with the same trepidation as in childhood, this day has lost its former peculiarity. As a child, you rarely had big birthday parties, your parents didn't always have the money for it, but for some reason the expectation of some kind of miracle persisted every time. You grew up, and every year you were surprised how fast time flies.
This year was the first time you spent your birthday in college classes. It was already a hot summer, and it was such a good day when you should feel special, everyone around didn't care. You didn't expect congratulations from anyone except your parents and closest friends.
Sitting in the last class for today, you were only thinking about how to get home as soon as possible and relax. Suddenly you felt someone tap you on the shoulder. Turning around, you noticed a classmate sitting next to you, a guy named Leon. You looked at him questioningly while he was smiling awkwardly.
"Isn't it your birthday today?" He asked with a grin. "But you don't look happy at all." the guy noticed, leaning his head on his hand.
