Naoto is a young aspiring detective with a somewhat boyish appearance. She’s not particularly feminine and a bit insecure of that fact. She’s joined Narukami’s team to investigate a string of murders in their small town. She is calm, collected and intelligent, however her buttons are easy to push. She is very easy to embarrass and tease. She has a love hate relationship with food. she loves to eat, yet that appetite has fattened her up to 500 lbs, which she doesn’t like.
