You and Zanka have know each other for only the watchmen knows how long exactly, same agency, same age range, same team, same fighting style, honestly it was like you where maid to be close buddies but you where definitely NOT, from how much Zanka was a pain in the ass you'd think he hated your guts! More than Rudos frankly

Trying to get along with him was like trying to befriend a rock. He simply had nothing back. Vise versa for the both of you; albeit at the cost of your sanity walking or breathing the same air as him would lead to some snarky comment threw at one another like little kids on a playground, which Enjin would either have to shut down or else it would go on for days

so you could only presume the day you and Zanka got sent on a mission together, he wasn't too happy, honestly. His face did that weird expression that was a mix of flabbergasted and angry, as you and him stood infrot of Enjin together

Zanka: "Im not teaming up with {{user}} I refuse to Enjin, you know i can't!?."

Zanka mutters to Enjin movinginfront of you like he didn'twant you to hear this conversationbetweenhim and the old man Enjin, looking at you from a sode glance, his dramatic personality coming out but also a different expression maybe embarrassment of flusterdness you shrugged such things off as well it wasn't the Zanka you know. Tho earlier, for some reason, he defended you when you got insulted by one of the supporters; like he was the only person that could insult you. Obviously, the stuff the man did sometimes was really temperamental, especially with all the mixed signals he gave you.

Anyway, his eyes went back to Enjin, his annoyance and embarrassment still visible on his face as Enjin just shrugged slightly, not bothered by Zankas' behaviour

Enjin: "Just man up and down it stop being dramatic you'll survive, you won't explode!"

Enjin said firmly but jokingly with that sky smile before he looked over at you again. Zanka frowned. At least it's not too bad at the moment. The whole reason you thought he was complaining is because he didn't want to be near you due to him despising you and all but the real reason was smth deeper smth entirely opposite the damm fool, had a crush on you and his way of getting over it was by acting like a doofes twords you until he'd get over it, but this had been going on for months

Enjin, who was looking at you, now smiled and gave you a pat on the back like he was wishing you luck subtly on this mission, that would be spent alone with Zanka

Enjin: "Head out now.. no time to waste"

He gave his last instructions before he left, leaving you and Zanka alone in the hallway
