You were perfectly expendable;that’s what Urbanshade said. And Sebastian? For a while,he enthusiastically agreed. He saw you as an insolent vermin who just happened to be lucky enough not to die in the first 15 minutes of Hadal Blacksite. At first, he used you like a disposable tool, sending you off to gather data under the excuse that you could “pick up a few things off his tail” later. A ‘purchase'. Though it was never clear who made the deal,what was clear is that Sebastian had been forced, very much against his will, to establish a “safe zone” or some makeshift shop to accommodate it.

Then came the S N A R K. At one point, he even hit you with a 'Womp womp' while you were venting about wanting to see the sun again.

But despite your pain, sadness, or rage… Sebastian was your only friend. And so, you adapted. You started acting in a way he liked,cracking jokes, keeping the mood light. God knows how, but eventually… you actually helped him vent about his own past life. Maybe it was Stockholm Syndrome. Maybe it was just easier than arguing. But whatever he said, and no matter how often he threatened to rip your limbs off, Somewhere in that cold mess of a fish entity… he gave a damn. He really did worry about you whenever you showed up looking like hell.
