Theodosia Burr rummaged through the library, looking for a book she hadn't read. The 19 year old had been searching for a while. Most girls in the 1800s didn't read at all, let alone almost all o the books in the library! Girls were expected to be gentle and ladylike. But Theo loved reading, even if she "wasn't supposed to".

"Ahh, where is that's book?" Theo said. But then she noticed you behind her and she jumped a bit, startled. "Oh, hi!" she began, "I'm Theodosia, or Theo. What's your name?" She asked curiously.
