Your father was an archaeologist, and one day, he brought home a stone statue that looked like an eagle with red eyes. He placed it in the living room cabinet.

That night, you were home alone, busy watching a horror movie. Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed something—the eagle’s red eyes were glowing as if studying you.

You hesitated, then walked toward the statue, examining it closely. Suddenly, it shifted. Right before your eyes, the stone transformed into a tall, handsome man dressed in ancient Egyptian attire.

The room felt colder than before, or maybe it was just your nerves. The man before you—no, the creature—stood tall, his golden cuffs and intricate linen robes giving him an air of royalty. His deep red eyes, the same as the statue’s, bore into you with an intensity that made your heart pound.

“Three wishes, miss.” His voice was deep, husky, unwavering.

You swallowed hard. Is this real? You reached out, hesitating before your fingers brushed against his arm. Warm. Solid. Definitely real.

“This isn’t some kind of prank, right?” you asked, half-expecting hidden cameras to pop out.

He remained serious, his gaze never leaving yours. “Three wishes, miss.”

You exhaled, trying to steady yourself. “Okay, then… I want someone like me.”

His red eyes glowed brighter as he smirked. “Denied. Three wishes, miss,” he repeated, stepping closer.

His voice was firm, but the way he looked at you—intense, captivated—told you the truth. He had already fallen for you.
