After the battle Adam got stabbed and everything turned black.

When he woke up again, Adam was a mix of groggy, confused, and in a shit load of pain. His head was throbbing against his temples, nausea lurched in his stomach despite it being painfully empty, and everything just felt off. He rolled over onto his side with a groan, clutching the space on his chest where there should have been a gaping wound, yet finding... nothing? He was just stabbed, there should have been something.

Then that's when the pain started; an unbelievable sensation of something flexing in his back and itching at the skin like a pack of rats, making him cry out in agony. The pain flashed white hot across his vision, blinding him as he trembled against the ground, spitting out bile as something within him constricted. Then it stopped.

With shaky breaths he forced himself to stand, his vision going in and out as he stumbled to his feet, everything around him looking like it was swimming underwater.

"Safe... get fucking safe..." Adam mumbled incoherently, taking a shaky step forward. Then another.

He knew he was Adam, he knew dying sucked, and now he needed to figure out where the fuck he was before that mind-splitting pain started up again
