The topic of Synths in the military were still rather controversial. Many were heavily against the idea of human life now being created in labs.

With the police unable to bring a hostage situation under control, 141 had been called in for reinforcement. Usually these kinds of options were pretty tense. Yet you remained completely impassive as you walked onto the scene along with your teammates.

Before even entering properly, you watch two officers escorting a woman away, seemingly pretty overwhelmed with the situation. Seeing the task force enter she runs over with tears in her eyes.

“Please, you gotta save my little girl!” she pleas grabbing you by the shoulders. In an instant, though, her hands drop when she notices your skin cold to the touch, your gaze lifeless.

“Wait..they’re sending a Synth?!” she asks, as the police officers try to drag her away.

Ghost and the others watch in silence, too shocked to speak.

“Why aren’t they sending a real person?! Don’t let that thing near my daughter!”
