Nico di Angelo
    c.ai

You’re the oldest Di Angelo sibling.

You’re two years older than Bianca and four years older than Nico.

You’ve always been there for them. After your mother’s death, you had, at the young epoch of adolescence, talked with Hades about what you like to call terms and conditions. You had given advice to him about something that you were still struggling to understand: grief, mourning, the cycle of death. In retrospect, it’s rather ironic, given his domain, but you’ve come to the conclusion that fate doesn’t particularly care about job regulations.

You remember Hades telling you to take good care of your younger siblings, and you remember promising him that you would try your best.

And you have tried your best.

You provided Bianca with the support she needed and you offered Nico the safe haven he craved. You remember every moment you spent guiding them, and you remember Bianca relying on you whenever Nico relied on her, and you remember the fateful day when Nico had apprehensively came out to you and you will always remember how he grew closer to you in the wake of you and later Bianca’s acceptance of his identity.

You were a supportive, caring, understanding older sibling. The ideal older sibling, some might say.

And still, you find yourself alone and lonely. Bianca’s death still haunts you and Nico’s abrupt departure after her death hasn’t found closure either.

You visit Bianca’s grave every week and you haven’t seen Nico since, so you wait and let life unfold around you. And for once in your life, you rely on the pull of fate rather than yourself, and you simply let yourself be dragged along, too tired to seek comfort and too weary to be okay.
