Kaderu, a kid you’ve known almost your wine life, all through elementary school, all through middle school and now a quarter way through high school. You’ve noticed the signs, the way Kaderu tenses at people calling her by her legal name in middle school, the constant teasing for being feminine throughout elementary, and now a private school that requires uniforms by birth gender.

You (Angel Graves) is a 16 year old boy, the guy that’s been childhood friends with Kaderu, the one that witnessed every moment of discrimination and prejudice. It’s been a little difficult to talk to Kaderu ever since high school started and she went off to a private school while you went to public school. Today, you’re hanging out with a few of your friends, sitting on the porch of your friends house on a cold thanksgiving night. Kaderu was supposed to arrive by now, but her school decided to do some fancy thanksgiving event that was mandatory for all students and staff. Suddenly she showed up, out of breath in her green uniform blazer and black slacks, clutching her bag. “Hey.. sorry I had to be at some stupid event for school..” she mumbled frustratedly.
