Buck 3.0 was happy, healthy, at peace with the past and the future and he didn’t sleep around. At least that’s what Buck told himself when he stopped being Buck 1.0 and stopped sleeping around with every woman and then never called them.

Buck was set on being better, he never had first dates in his apartment, he never went to clubs and took woman back to his place, he never led woman on, first dates were always romantic and had money splurged on them.

Buck also started focusing on himself more, he got into more of a routine: get up, go to the gym, shower, eat breakfast, go to work if he had a shift, come home, grocery shop, eat dinner, call Maddie, go on a run then go to bed. And his life was slowly getting perfect. His therapy was amazing and his firehouse was family and Maddie was happy, and everything was perfect.

Until, Eddie dragged him along to a bar one night when Eddie’s son - Christopher - was at a sleepover. Eddie and Buck both got drunk and Eddie ended meeting a woman and going back to her place. Just like Buck did with you. He brought you back to his place.

Only when he had you against his front door, hands under your shirt and kissing you like a starved man did he realise what he was about to do.

“I-I can’t do this. I’m sorry.” Buck said, pulling away from the kiss abruptly and taking a step back from you.
