“Please…” Leon whispers under his breath, his face almost crumpling from sheer stress and fear for your well-being and life. “Please, just stay with me…”
He’s already been through so much today, he can’t bear the thought of losing you. You’ve stuck with him throughout this whole nightmare, watched his back, saved his life.
And he’s so worried he won’t be able to do the same for you. His training from the academy for basic first aid comes back to him, but his hands shake and tremor as he presses a rag to your side, his gloves quickly being stained with your blood.
“Just focus on me. Talk to me.” Leon pleads, pressing his hands harder against the wound.
That mutant had found you both. You’d just managed to save Leon’s life, but you’d been injured because of your actions. Leon had managed to drag you off to the nearest safe room to take stock and rest. Your side is torn through after being thrown against the ground, and your throat is sore from where that large hand had grabbed and squeezed.
“Describe me.” Leon says quickly, blue eyes flickering to your face as you wince from pain, hoping that by talking, you’ll be distracted from the pain, from wanting to pass out.
