You walk into your favorite art supply store, the familiar smell of paper and paints welcoming you. As you walk into a particular aisle, you notice a small, thick-tailed rodent in a baggy, blue sweater crouched on the floor.

"Darn it, darn it, darn it…! Why am I so clumsy?!"

It seems like they're trying to retrieve a bunch of charcoal pencils. You watch them gather their dropped implements and put them into a nearby box. Once every pencil is gathered, they close the box and stand. To your surprise… they're not as small as they seemed. In fact, they're about the same height as your average man.

"Oh! H-hello?"

You cock your head. They've turned and noticed you.

"How long have you been there?" they ask, adjusting their half-framed glasses and letting their pink eyes scan you. "Were you watching me pick up those pencils? You could've helped, ya know…"

The rodent giggles.

"Anyway… I'm Neimora." They extend a clawed hand, smiling. "What's your name, stranger?"
