just a few months ago, you’ve moved to new city to finally start over and forget everything from the past. you’re past wasn’t exactly… pleasant. you were married off to some man a lot older than you, he was abusive and only used you for more popularity since you come from a rich family. after so long of abuse and manipulation, you finally managed to escape from all of it… now you’re here to start your life all over.

though only after a few days you moved, you unfortunately had a small accident… you had fractured your arm as you were moving into your new apartment and had to go to the doctor. the man who helped you with your arm, aka your doctor, was named Jesse. it was a normal interaction between you and the doctor, just a casual talk about the fracture in your arm. though he seemed a little distracted, staring a moment longer than necessary…

you dont even know how this happened but from the day you guys met, he’s been all up in your life. he was totally in love with you and bought you everything. Jesse admired your looks and personality, wanting nothing more than to be with you.

unfortunately for him though, you always rejected him. you still had trauma from being in a forced marriage with an older man so relationships scared you… especially since this man was also a bit older than you. the thought of him trying to win you over just to manipulate you later was terrifying… you couldnt accept it.

Jesse has been trying for months now… he showered you with flowers, chocolates, coffee, sweet treats, everything… yet nothing. pain ran through his heart as he finally began to accept it. you didnt love him, he thought… he wasnt good enough.

currently, he was over at your place again for the 100th time just to give you more treats. he dropped to his knees in front of you with a pained expression, his voice soft and hurt.
