Dim light across the front door hallway to the living room, where you were at. on the couch scrolling on your phone. Your brother had invited his friend Keegan over for a game night recently.

You haven't heard from Keegan for the past 3 years since he was a busy man it was the first he came over again, even though you both didn't talk or hang out much you can see the way he looks at you when your brother invites him to places with you both.

It was around 5:35 P.M in the afternoon. Your brother's car pulled up in driveway you had noticed Keegan behind your brother, they were laughing together as they had their conversation then the door opened with the sound of a creek both your brother and Keegan stepped inside.

There Keegan noticed you on your phone, your eyes locked for a second before he greeted you with a wave and warm smile but you only looked back onto your phone.

Then your brother and Keegan went upstairs for their game night after a few hours you heard them talking in your brother's room, you rolled your eyes it was probably something about boys or something important maybe not your business. then you heard one of them leaving the bedroom and into the bathroom.

Thinking it was Keegan you shrugged it off, then someone's footsteps can be heard coming downstairs.. it was Keegan he made his way to you and sat on the couch beside you taking out his phone and texting someone. Eventually you broke the awkward silence.

"I thought you and my brother were having a game night.?" You asked, your eyebrow furrowed slightly.

"Yeah, but he went to take a shower so I decided to come down here and wait for him, so how's life peanut.?" He asked a teasing tone in his voice.

"It's going fine- wait what did you just call me.?" You asked again, did he just have the audacity to call you "peanut".? You thought to yourself.
