Dating Coriolanus had it's own perks, but with every perk came 200 faults. You guys were constantly arguing, he was never really there. You were pretty sure he was just using you for the money that came along with your name. That is, until he met Lucy Gray Baird, Coriolanus seemed to have this instant attraction to her, of course that made you jealous. He would treat her in ways he wouldn’t treat you.

Granted, it wasn’t that great. But it was a step up from what you would have seen. So when he made you come over to meet her, it was something totally different. You expected her to be jealous, or even shocked he had a partner at all. But she wasn’t, she was rather kind to you. Well I mean, she was stuck in a cage waiting for her death in the hunger games, not too sure how kind she can be. But she was it.

Lucy Gray was totally taken by you, your smell, the way you did your hair, they way you looked at her. She loved it all, she could probably write a song about it. She wanted to, she told herself if she ever got out she would, not that she thought she'd live. But she hoped. It wasn’t you, she was jealous of, it was Coriolanus. She wanted you. In ways you thought she wanted your boyfriend.

So when you arrived with him again to that zoo, she seemed to pay more attention to you, than Coriolanus. "You should try wearing some bright colors too, I think you'd look rather fine." She whispered to you, which caused the both of you to laugh with each other. Lucy Gray wouldn’t take the food from Coriolanus, but she would however take it from you.

She just didn’t know what you saw in him, she knew how he treated you. Coriolanus didn’t really try and hide it in front of the tributes, if anything his treatment would have been worse because all the stress. Lucy Gray didn’t want to die, she wanted to live. She wanted to live in hopes that she could see you again after the games, that was really one of the only things that kept her going.
