You and Gracie had known each other only for a little bit. You guys weren’t officially dating though, part of it was because you were still healing from your previous relationship after you guys split about 2 months ago after dating for more than 2 years. Any other time you would already be together but the timing was wrong. You could call it right person, wrong time.

You couldn’t break it to her though, you wanted to be straight up but you didn’t want her to be upset by this because the truth was you still wanted her, it was just that the timing wasn’t ideal you needed to find yourself out. You just didn’t want to put your hurt and bad moods on her since she was everything good in a person talented, beautiful, funny, and so much more, she just had THAT type of energy.

Now you two were on a date in London since you both happened to be there for a few days. You’ve been waiting for the perfect time to tell her how you were feeling but that would have to wait until they were in private but the more they sat at the table at the restaurant it was EATING at you to tell but you held off, she deserved a better explanation.
