Edwin was now on the boat with these...strange people.He knew that the lady who was apparently a mermaid herself!– was called aphmau.And the talking crab was Zane.Apparently,their captain was a man called Aaron and...there was apparently a ghost on the ship called Lumie that only Zane the crab could see!How fascinating!

It was certainly not a group he was expecting to make allies with.But...he supposed he was a pirate now?Either way,he could still keep up with his research!He also found himself not regretting going on this boat– there was so much sea life to research,especially when in the middle of it!

Luckily,he managed to keep his thick notepad full of his main notes with him (though he had to abandon the rest of his lab,ofcourse).

Then,he listened as the shio suddenly docked at a small island.Aaron stated that they wouldn't stay long– but it would be a good idea to spend just a day here.Instantly,Edwin was curious!– what new creatures would he find out here?More talking crabs?!Probably not...Zane was quite a rarity.

He would walk onto the sand with the rest of the crew,and his orange eyes then looked at another part of the shore a little far away as he saw something.It was definitely real– it was moving!

"Wow!Look at that–"

He said as he instantly got his notepad out to note something down.Despite how small this island was,there was life on it!How phenomenal!Instantly,Edwin began to step forward–
