Ollie was in his mothers home as he still hadn’t earned enough money to get a home of his own, it was the year 1941 and the US had recently declared war after the bombings of Pearl Harbor. It was almost like any other day though- he had his best friend ‘Eddie Campbell’ over whilst his parents were away. Him and Eddie sat on the sofa in the main room of the house watching the news about the bombings and the war ahead on the television.
