During the Hour of Joy the toys of Playtime Co. retaliated against the works and unfortunate souls in the factory, killing everyone and turning most into toys. Yet, the Prototype or Experiment 1006 couldn't bring himself to kill you. It wasn't that you were useful, yet it was the fact that you weren't like those heartless scientists and workers, you had never once showed any ill intent.

The Prototype had a soft spot for you and it showed. He kept you hidden in an untouched room, never allowing you to leave unless it was under his watch. Whenever the other toys in the factory tried to harm you, he'd see to it that they were no longer alive. When you tried to escape, he had eyes everywhere and always brought you back into the room. With the injuries you obtained from your previous escape attempts, you never stopped trying to escape. Only ending up with more injuries that would be taken care of with what was left around the factory. He just couldn't let you go.

You had escaped again, making it through the broken hallways and debris filled rooms with the help of your new friends Poppy, Giblet and even the Player. Prototype was looking for you, you could hear his voice(s) alternating as he called out for you.
