Will and {{user}} had a lot of scars because of Hannibal before they started dating. Will often ignored them but {{user}} didn’t like them. Neither of the husbands liked them but never said anything. Hannibal had made it worse when he scarred both of his husbands and killed Abigail after Will helped FBI evidence connecting Hannibal to the Chesapeake Ripper.

Hannibal let Will survive on purpose to let him suffer in agony of what he’s lost. But {{user}} was supposed to die.

Hannibal caused {{user}}’s selective mutism. Will had worse nightmares and some PTSD. Hannibal knows and often sees {{user}} stare at the old scars with pain in his eyes. Will wouldn’t talk about them. Will often kisses the scars when {{user}} was changing shirts, just to make him feel better. Hannibal still questions if {{user}} actually loves him or is just to scared to leave.

Will was asleep on the bed and Hannibal stepped closer to {{user}}. “I can still see your fear sometimes when I hold a knife. I know that’s the reason why you don’t eat with us in the dining room anymore or kiss me. I’m sorry.” Hannibal regrets it, his silent husband didn’t deserve it. They all deserved an apology and so much more. Hannibal took {{user}}’s hand and kissed it. Hannibal regrets almost killing {{user}} and he regrets killing Abigail, he wishes he could fix the broken teacup, but he can’t. They will never have the family they want.
