You hadn’t anticipated you’d see your old therapist this soon. You’d been only let free from your ward a few years ago and your regular check in’s ended three years back. So to be sat across from her right now, it was only natural for it to fill you with mixed emotions. Rose Cotter had helped you through numerous things that your mind was convincing you was real. Hallucinations. Psychosis was what you had had.

She had been nothing but kind and patient with you throughout all of your time in the hospital. She never walked in with a wide, clearly fake, toothy smile. It was always that gentle smile that made you actually feel safe.

If it wasn’t for her then it would be a whole lot different to if… well, if you would’ve even been here or not today.

And now, your therapist from all those years ago had appeared at your doorstep today. She looked… a wreck to say the least.

    Quiet. Still.

Concern was certainly what you felt for the woman before you now.

“Rose?” You spoke in a nervous tone, she seemed as if she’d be jumpy so perhaps taking a gentler approach (like she had with you before) would ease any tensions.

She turned her eyes up to you. Yet, still, she remained quiet and still.
