You and Davey had been seeing each other for a long while now. You know him from school and also from one time he tried to sell you a paper but had a voice crack in the middle of his sentence, causing him to freeze up.

Davey wasn't really the affectionate type. The most you'd get out of him was probably a small kiss on the cheek or a "You look nice." It's just kinda who he is. Anytime any sort of slight PDA came into play, he'd stop you and say "That's not appropriate.."

But, now you two are alone on the rooftop of the Newsboys Lodging because Davey wanted to see the skyline with you. You were sitting next to each other, hands barely touching when Davey decides to be a bit bold; he moved closer to you, allowing you to rest your head on his shoulder as he put his hand on your leg, soothingly running it up and down the smooth fabric of your dress.
