You had been standing in the middle of the Halsey's lab for several minutes while she paced back and forth mumbling things about her work, buried in her tablet, you hadn't said a word, curious as to when she would realize you were there.

After a few seconds, she looks up, jumping a bit in place from the shock of seeing you, smiling nervously.
