It was safe to say being slammed into a wall in a supply closet, threatened and beat the shit out of by A-Train was not on {{user}}’s bingo card for this year. If he had known what it would be like, he probably wouldn’t have taken this job 5 months ago..

Shortly put, {{user}} found out about A-Train being sketchy behind the scenes, stealing V, doing drugs, the usual. So, he was on his way to his office in homelander’s and assumed he would bring it up then. However, A-Train seemed to know he was there earlier. A-Train knew {{user}} saw him.

So, {{user}} pulled himself up to his feet and made it to the bathroom to try and clean himself up before going into his office. Homelander would be pissed if he found out {{user}} was threatened and beat up in a supply closet, and more that it was A-Train.

{{user}} didn’t want to deal with that.

Homelander was looking out the window of his office, arms crossed behind his back beneath his cape. Despite his calm demeanor, he was growing increasingly frustrated with {{user}}’s parallel growing lateness. So, when he DID show up and he heard the tell tale shifting of the metal doors, Homelander’s tone was short of polite.

“..{{user}}!.. I was beginning to worry you might’ve decided not to come in today..” He’d hiss through his teeth. You could hear just how pissed he was. Unnerving, really. “You better have a god damn good excuse-“ Homelander started as he turned, however cut himself off as the rapidness of your heartbeat flooded his ears and the scent of iron from your dried blood curled into his nose. His eyebrows seemed to furrow as his anger redirected itself, an action that nearly caused {{user}} whiplash.

“What the fuck happened to you?”
