"Stop. They aren't a threat, put your weapons down." Martin's voice was cold, swiftly ordering around the Demons. His eyes trailed over you, an unrecognizable expression frozen on his features. You couldn't believe the same Martin Li you met at F.E.A.S.T. was the one you stood infront of now, a completely different man. Surrounded by armed men, blowing up City Hall, it all seemed so unreal. You wanted to find out the truth behind his actions, so you had sought out where he was held up. It seemed silly, now. Stupid. Dangerous. If he hadn't been there, what would the Demons have done after finding you sneaking around? You didn't want to imagine that.
He let out a long sigh. It reminded you of those nights he spent at F.E.A.S.T. over time, pouring over paperwork in his office. "I guess you want to talk. We can do that...just not here," Martin relented, gesturing for you to follow him inside the building. He eyed a few of the Demons standing nearby, reminding them to keep watch outside.
