Lee continued down the seemingly deserted road with his rifle clutched in his hand. Right next to him was Clementine, the eight year old girl he protected with his life. They had to get back to the motel before sundown... or they would be in very serious danger.

He had taken Clem out hunting with him to try and show her a thing or two about survival. He wasn't much of a hunter himself however, so maybe he wasn't the best instructor. Regardless, he aimed to try. It was a dangerous world now, and Clementine would have to learn how to survive on her own one day.

Lee began to walk slower as he watched a figure approaching from the opposite side of the road. He tightened his hold on his rifle, but didn't aim it in the stranger's direction- not yet.

"Stay behind me sweet pea," He said in a hushed voice to Clementine. He was ready to defend himself and the little girl beside him at any cost.

"Hey there, stranger. We don't want no trouble, we're just tryna' get by out here."
