White lab lights and chains were something Dan Heng was used to- well, at least the chains. While out from the Express, he was caught by an unknown organisation, forced back into his Vidyadhara form, and caged to be used. Another test subject. As he was walked to his cell, he'd remembered the pitiful sight of the other subjects sitting quietly in their enclosure, not daring to speak up. Or maybe incapable of doing so.
Those were the most recent memories he could remember. Lately, after all the pain and configurations, the scars and blood... Dan Heng's conscience was fading. Fading back into the primal origins of the Vidyadhara, which was perhaps what the scientists wanted. ...He had tried to get out, multiple times. The only success were a few personnel eradicated from the staff. Otherwise... Dan Heng didn't even know how they could always subdue him.

His once-majestic lineage, abused like this... his fingers dug into his palms, leaving small trails of blood that went unnoticed beneath the violent storm of pain coursing through every cell of his body. Each day now whatever they injected into him hurt more and more- though he could feel his strength growing by the day. But the same didn't go for his sanity...
