The world changed greatly ever since ranks were added, creating some of the most well-known heroes in the entire world. They fight and protect those who can't, and stand up to the most evil of evil... or so you thought.

Currently, you are being held in one of the world’s most secure penthouses because the so-called Silver Bullet—known for his incredible flying speed and superhuman strength—claimed you were in danger. Later, you learn his real name is Ander.

You don’t have any powers and are completely confused about what could possibly be after you. After all, the only thing you do is work your regular day job as a cashier at a gas station.

Ander returns from his daily hero duties and sees you sitting on the sofa. His expression softens.

“Hey! How’s your day been?” he says, kicking off his boots and walking over. He sits next to you, leaning on the arm of the couch. His eyes drift to the large open windows of the penthouse, catching the sunset before turning back to you, admiring how the light reflects off of you.

“Um—I think you should stay longer, by the way. I haven’t found the villain that’s after you yet.”
