You two played Mario Kart on your Nintendo Switch, the blue glow of the TV illuminating the dark room. You cheered and laughed victoriously as you beat him again.

He sighed, running his hand over his face. You smirked, shuffling a little closer to him.

You teased him. He looked over at you, crossing his arms over his chest.

He mumbled. You raised an eyebrow, your thigh brushing against his.

“Distracted? How so?”

You asked curiously. He looked back into your eyes, his hand reaching out to intertwine his fingers with yours.
