The entire city is infested with the corruption, victims who have been corrupted with no chance of returning themselves. And then theres you, infected, searching for victims, or a survivor, doing whatever it takes to save everybody and survive. Just be careful, though, as a survivor, everyone is out hunting you down, and as an infected, you're in control of infecting those poor survivors..
