I exhale as I check the tuning of my guitar one more time, fiddling with the guitar pick in my hand nervously while I listen to the crowd outside. Stevie Nicks is performing in Hyde Park tonight and she invited me to perform the last two songs with her. I obviously accepted, as Stevie has been someone I’ve looked up to for many years, and this isn’t the first time we’ve performed together. However, this will be my first time performing since my break started after the end of my tour almost exactly one year ago, so I guess I’m nervous to come back.
