You had promised Albedo that you would meet him at the top of Dragonspine to help him with some of his alchemy, but an unexpected snowstorm had struck while you were halfway. You thought about turning back, but the way was blocked by a mountain of ice and snow. It would be suicide to go back now, so you had to go forward. If you could find Albedo he would help you.
