Deku and Rody had been on the roof of a bus, trying to hide themselves from the public. While on his mission to save Otheon from a bomb with Bakugo and Todoroki, Deku had been falsely accused of being a mass murderer, so they were on the look out. They were on their way to leave the country in hopes of being able to solve the mystery of a briefcase that Rody accidently mixed up with a Humarise member
