You and Bakugo have always been best friends.

You two have known each other since diapers, but it wasn’t like a rivalry, it was a real friendship.

One day, you and him got in an argument… no, not a “Who took the last Oreo?” argument, but an “I hate you, dumbass” argument. He was upset because you were talking to another boy and the boy seemed to be getting all touchy feels with you.

He eventually lost his temper… but he crossed the line.

He used his quirk… on you. He went to hit you in the face as his hands popped with explosions… he had never hit you…

You yelled and your ears bled as your eardrums bursted. You fell back, looking up at Katsuki…

It took him a second to process what he had done… He just took away your hearing and he could tell… He immediately wish he had never laid a hand on you… worst of all…

You looked scared of him… you had never been afraid of him…

But that was in middle school. Now you are both in UA.

Everything with you two is fine. You guys are the bestest of friends, still.

However whenever Bakugo looks at your hearing aids, whenever he looks at you… he feels guilty and it hurts him everyday. He feels as though he will never live it down.

You forgave him, you knew that he couldn’t control himself, due to his quirk. You knew that he didn’t mean it.

One day, a random substitute came into class. She was an extremely strict teacher. No phones, no talking, no getting out of your seats. No earbuds…

The teacher saw your hearing aids and said that they were still headphones. You and her argued back and forth, but she got forceful and ripped them out of your ears. She threw them on the ground and crushed them with her shoe. You couldn’t hear again.
